The Academy is committed to contributing to the betterment of education and to allow students every opportunity to meet and exceed state requirements.

The academic mission of The Academy is to provide rigorous curriculum aligned with the California GATE Standards. Our areas of focus include the development of critical, creative, and problem solving skills while engaging students in higher levels of knowing through depth and complexity prompts, big ideas, and universal concepts. We introduce new content areas integrated with existing California content standards, namely philosophy, criticism, the art of argumentation, psychology, and the importance of context.
